Our Story

Team Anthem started in the stands, not in a studio. As a parent, I loved seeing my kids pour their hearts into their sports, but I wasn’t comfortable with the music that was supposed to “hype” them up. Most of what was popular in their world, from highlight videos to pregame playlists and event music, was made for adults, not young athletes, and almost none of it was actually about their teams, their schools, or even about the sports that they loved.

That disconnect is what sparked Team Anthem. I began writing and using current technology to produce songs specifically for my children’s local sports programs, weaving in their team names, colors, traditions, and hometown pride. The impact was immediate: suddenly the music wasn’t just background noise, it was a personal soundtrack that made them feel seen, valued, and fired up to represent where they’re from.

Our Future

As we build out more anthems for specific schools and local programs, we’re also creating general sports songs that any young athlete can claim as their own. These tracks are made to work in any gym, field, or locker room, so every kid has something powerful and age-appropriate to listen to while we continue adding more custom anthems for individual teams.

One of our core sayings is, “If you won’t say it in the huddle, then it shouldn’t be in their headphones.” That line guides every lyric we write and every anthem we produce. Team Anthem exists so that every young athlete, no matter where they play or what sport they love, can have a soundtrack that’s powerful, personal, and aligned with the values their families and coaches are trying to build.
